It all began, when my Grandmother took me to a local skating show when I was 8 years old. I knew instantly that I wanted to ice skate. After a few group lessons I was hooked for life and have been skating ever since.
I competed in numerous competitions including the New England Regional Championship, North Atlantic Regional Championships, Collegiate Nationals and U.S. Adult National Championships. I have performed in numerous shows including the televised Hot & Gold Ice Show I & II at the International Skating Center of Connecticut. Another career highlight was skating in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at the 1981 World Championships, which were held in Hartford.
I continue to compete and also perform with Team Bolton Adult Theater on Ice Troupe. When I am off the ice I enjoy reading, photography, making jewelry and cake decorating.
